Providence Baroque explores the riches of Bach’s Orchestral Music, much of which was played in weekly concerts by the Leipzig Collegium Musicum at Zimmerman’s Coffee House, where Bach led twice weekly concerts from 1729-1737. Two double concertos of Bach will be featured, and a double concerto by Georg Philipp Telemann, Bach’s friend and occasional rival, and Godfather to his second Son.
