MARCH: Bach’s Birthday
For Bach’s birthday this year we’ve invited two old friends who are currently Juilliard faculty members and both of whom were part of the Benefit Street Chamber Players, featured in Museum Concerts, and often working with Mary Sadovnikoff in the 1990s. Robert Mealy, violin and Peter Sykes, harpsichord will offer works from two of the greatest 18th Century musical dynasties — performing music of J. S. Bach with Francois & Louis Couperin.
Peter Sykes “Compelling and moving,” “magnificent and revelatory” — Boston Globe
Robert Mealy "A master musician, fluent, intelligent, and natural" — Boston Herald
